Raven + Lily is an fashion organization created to empower women through design partnerships and provide sustainable economic opportunities. These ladies shared a passion for ethical design. They found different communities in emerging countries to hand craft the beads and jewelry designs. The organization is dedicated to returning the proceeds to their partnered communities around the world, in order to fund educations, health-care, and micro loans. The stories of these women are shared across the globe and I love it! And aren’t the photos just gorgeous?! You can find more of these amazing photos in their Fall/Winter lookbook.

Proud Mary textiles is a business with a cause.  Their mission is so close to my heart and I just love the quality of their work.  The vibrant, fresh colors they use and authentic Guatemalan design make for beautiful bags, pillows, and other products. Proud Mary is a design business that promotes social change and seeks to empower women in developing areas. They strive to support global artisans and their families while celebrating their culture and creativity.  Founder Harper Poe was first inspired to start Proud Mary by Habitat for Humanity and her work with them in Chile.  She says, “I want our customer to feel a connection to the artisans that produce our product.  People are very aware of thinking ‘green’ but we’d like people to start thinking socially conscious when buying things.”  This is such a great cause with amazing products.  Love the look, love the partnership, love the purpose!

Here’s a little something fun for your nails! I love layering beautiful colors with fun textures. I chose Mod About You  by OPI and layered it with Sephora for OPI’s Only Gold For Me. I am totally pleased with the results! The lightness of base coat gives such a feminine touch! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
